The Body Shop hand creams

Posted by Halifax @ Sparkled Beauty

It was quite a moment I had with these little cuties when they arrived in my mail box. The Body Shop Core hand creams would make one of the best hand bag companions you would need all year round!

Not just the look with cute and vibrant labels, these hand creams are infused with Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana.

With a light weight gel cream texture, they absorb quick and feel very light on the skin, almost as light as water. If you are on the go, there is no wait time for the hand creams to dry at all. You are all set!

I use hand creams like my life depends on them (well, it almost does), so I know a good hand cream when I see it!

On the top is the Honeymania hand cream, with Community Fair Trade honey from Ethiopia.

Ingredients: Water (solvent/diluent), Glycerin (humectant), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (emollient), Honey (natural additive), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil (skin-conditioning agent), Sodium Polyacrylate (film former/viscosity increasing agent), Cetyl Alcohol (emulsifier), Fragrance, etc.

On the bottom is the Mango hand cream, with mango seed oil from India.

Ingredients: Water (solvent/diluent), Glycerin (humectant), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (emollient), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil (skin conditioning agent - occlusive), Fragrance, Sodium Polyacrylate (film former/viscosity increasing agent), Cetyl Alcohol (emulsifier), etc.

I do not notice a difference in the texture and effect of the two tubes, other than the scent. Honeymania is more subtle, and Mango is nice and sweet.

The hand creams are also available in Strawberry, Satsuma, Pink Grapefruit, Coconut, Shea and Moringa (my next possible purchase). Your pick!

Designed to be travel friendly, the tubes are 10z/ 30ml, $10 each. Stock up during a sale and your hands will be happy, unless you are scent sensitive (I'm sorry).
