A purple base, packed with gold shimmer, it is a gorgeous shade. Not a duochrome by nature, but because the shimmers are very strong, at certain angles, Perfectly Polished looks more gold than purple.
During swatching, my mind kept questioning like I had seen this colour before. Then I realized it was my beloved Lise Watier Violet Dore, also Limited Edition. The base of Violet Dore is just a tad cooler with more blue undertone, but the gold shimmers are unmistakably similar.
Pigmentation is also good, here I used two coats. The shimmers are very fine, so removal was easy, no scrubbing.
Needless to say, I fell in love with Perfectly Polished, for the exact same reason I did with Violet Dore. And it has warm tone, I already got a backup of it :)
Hope you all had a relaxing weekend. Squirt and I decided to check out the soon-to-be-closed Zellers. The sales were 60 - 70% off most products. Wished we had a house to shop for, as household items were really cheap. Makeup was trashed into bins, messy and tested. Got some toy sets for Squirt and shape wear for me, glamorous huh? :)
Also found some boots on clearance at Walmart for like $9 (reg. $35). If you still need a pair, check there. Have a good start of the week!
